Too much work at the moment. I donĀ“t think we will include it.
Takes too much space in our texture atlas. The free space there is limited (due to some Java limitations) and we want to use this for more buildings.

Crossing diagonally 14x14 fields:

Two fields on left require 27 tiles.
One on right requies 26 tiles plus 14 sacrificial tiles for a total of 40.


Had to use 1x1 parks for where the main road path would be and farmland zone to depict the other tiles that would be required to render a diagonal roqdway.
