Since TheoTown have a airport, i don't have see any functions for airport. So..... How about to add tourist system??? With this we can get lot of positive things, for example:
  • Incerase profit
Incerase profit is one important thing to grow a city economy. For example one poor tourists generates 1-55T, medium tourists generates 75-250T, and rich tourists generates 275-500T. Landmarks can generate more pay for tourists when commercial buildings are within a landmark (CULTURE) radius. For example Sydney Opera Incerase +5% generates from medium wealth tourist and +20% from rich tourist
  • Commercials demand Incerased
Tourist need a hotel, shop, and mall to improve their happiness so when city get lot of tourists, more demand will come from commercial buildings.
  • Bus stop will more effective
One thing tourists doesn't like it: Walking!!. So the bus stop is only a answer when they want go to any place. Bus stop will effective when you put it nearby commercial building or airport.
  • Commercial have special ability: Hotel rooms
Nah, this one is most important thing for tourists. Without it tourists will have a chance to do a crime nearby it. In TheoTown have 3 hotels (maybe). First is ugly motel (Level 1 com) and Small hotel (Level 3 com) and Mega hotel (Level 3 com). Ugly motel have 15 rooms for poor tourists, can not accommodate medium tourist and rich tourists. Small hotel have 100 rooms for medium tourists and 50 rooms for rich tourists, can not accommodate poor tourists. Mega hotel have 350 rooms for rich tourists, can not accommodate poor tourists and medium tourists. Also hotel can spawn taxi.

I like this idea as well. It would solve a few of my problems with TheoTown and add a few cool new ideas.

I think the airport will only boost income. The hotel part is not-so-good if they are from commercials.

Unless its a special hotel building (not Commercial)

Or another idea is, the more tourists you have, the more profits your landmarks will give.

Maybe with internet connection (if at all possible),
there should be like a social sort-of platform where we could "accept" or "deny" requests for 'country-to-country' relationships (sort of like facebook). Thus, our airports will allow our airplanes to operate and bring tourists from "accepted" countries. And then on the data thingy (the data about how many rich, middle and poor people AND TOURIST numbers) how many tourists the other country un the relationship have agreed to send. (Help me, help you lol).
