Xbox Spam Messages

Has anyone been getting these spam bots on Xbox live recently? I've gotten a few of them and they can be fun to mess around with. Apparently, if you tell them your ten years old or something the say "oh sorry". It can be a bit amusing. Also, has PlayStation been having this problem too?

Ive heard about them, but my xbox hasnt been hooked up for about a month so...
Can't wait to mess around with them!

Apparently, they are a recent issue. I seen a post on Reddit about it from only a few days ago.

I think they only message you if your online. Maybe that's your issue? Another possibility is that they just haven't found your GT yet.
