You might have noticed that your plugin might have been suspended for the following reason:
What does the message mean?Inefficient use of texture space, consider using animations.
This means that your plugin has been suspended (or disapproved) for not following sector 3d of the plugin store rules:
How can I fix the issue?Don't waste texture space. The Plugin Store doesn't help with the fact that the available texture space is limited (to either 2048x2048, 4096x4096 or 8192x4096 right now). If you need big images you might consider to split them into smaller parts. If you only use small textures (e.g. 32x16) don't worry too much about texture space.
You have to split the texture into multiple parts and have them repeat by using animations. Aligning the parts should be made easy with Animation Dev Tool.
Do I have to worry about this if my building is small?
No. If your building is a simple low-rise building, you don't need to worry much about animations.
Does this also apply to night animations?
Yes. If we notice your plugin has night animations that waste loads of plugin texture space, it [the plugin] will be disapproved.
How do I need to split my building?
If you don't know how you can split your building to have animations, feel free to ask here and we'll try to answer as soon as possible.
How do I know if my plugin wastes plugin texture space?
Ensure your plugin doesn't contain rows of empty pixels, contains animations if the building is repetitive, and has empty space [around animations, night or not] cropped.
Once again, feel free to ask here and we'll try to answer ASAP.
