PTV ELECTION UPDATES
CANDIDATES GEAR UP FOR SUPER PRIMARIES NEXT WEEKEND

-Candidates for both parties are now campaigning heavily in the Western States as the super primaries this Saturday will take the candidates to Warminster, Columbia, Siarugao and Oregon. Approximately 50 million will vote on the said primaries, the biggest primaries so far in the election season. A Town Hall debate will air tomorrow at PTV for the Democrats at 7PM Pacific Time hosted by Warner Cronkite.

GOP CANDIDATES SPAR FIESTY STATEMENTS
-Its quite a spectacle in the GOP campaign trails as the candidates are sparring words against each other. Starting with Gov. William Pasey, calling out Sen. Erik Ulan as "Weak Weak Weak" in a campaign rally in Laguindingan City, Siarugao, last night. The governor attacked the Senator on his moderate stance on key social issues such as abortion and marijauana. With the governor, lambasting the Senator, calling him "lucifer in a flesh". Senator Ulan fired back in a campaign stop today in Pine Oaks, Oregon stating quote "Being called out by the Governor as Lucifer is being told your ugly by a frog, dont worry about it!". Adding "If I am lucifer, then what does he call himself?".

Matr Calderan called out the Governor saying "He cant even explain his racism let alone call others out for weakness". This exchange of words after the three men tied in the nationwide polls for GOP Voters. The GOP will also have their townhall debate this Friday. Matt Calderan is now the second placer, toppling Gov. Pasey to become the biggest rival of Sen. Ulan for the GOP Nomination.

PTV ELECTION UPDATES
GOV. EVASCO TOPS DEM POLLS; SEN. ULAN TIES WITH MATT CALDERAN IN GOP RACE

-Just 2 days before the super Monday primaries in the west coast, gallup polls in the 3 states that will have their primaries shows that the new comer, democratic candidate Gov. Erick Kyle Evasco tops the polls for the registered dems in the said region. He garnered 43% preference, followed by VP Alon st 31%, Sen. Batrina at 24% and Cong. Armos at 2%. Voters say that the Governor's style of campaign which is described as more reconcilliatory rather than devisive, is very popular on all age groups, as many gre tired of the typical mud slinging in election campaigns. The Gov. has a big support from minorities, stemming from his record as Governor of San Andreas, which is also why he is popular in the west as the only candidate in the election, from the region.

Meanwhilw Sen. Ulan has lost his lead in the polls and is now tied with Businessman and Billionaire Matt Calderan. GOP Voters in the region were polled and both goth 34% preference, with Gov. Pasey at 26% and Gov. Wallace at 5%. But with the region voting overwhelmingly democratic in the last 2 elections, it will be a tough fight to turn the region from blue to red this coming elections.

PTV ELECTION NEWS
GOV. EVASCO WINS DEM PRIMARIES IN A LANDSLIDE IN 3 STATES; GOP DIVIDED BETWEEN SEN ULAN AND CALDERAN

-Gov. Kyle Evasco won the Dem primaries in Oregon, Warminster and Siarugao with over 60% of the vote casted in his name. A stunning landslide for the newest candidate in the race. VP Alon meanwhile won the state of Columbia, his home state with 70% of the vote. Placing second on Gov. Evasco in Warminster. Meanwhile Se. Batrina came second in Oregon and Siarugao.

Mranwhile the GOP is split between Sen. Ulan and Matt Calderan. Sen Ulan won Oregon and Warminster while Calderan won Siarugao and Columbia. They also came second to each other in the polls. National surveys on GOP voters showed the two almost tied. With 40 points and 38 points respectively. This is attributed to Matr Calderan's more brash speaking and populist ideas.

The detailed results will be released as soon as possible.

PTV ELECTION NEWS
SAN ANDREAS GOES TO THE POLLS

-Its primary day in the most populous state in the Union, San Andreas, with 79 million inhabitants. The most heated primary race in the season so far with 450 delagates up for grabs in the Democratic part6 and 420 delagates in the GOP. The biggest state delegation in the country. Over 65 million people are eligible to cast their vote today on who they choose to be their party nominee. 40 million are registered Democrats while 25 million are registered Unionists GOP. The state had never voted for a GOP candidate since 1980. And analysts dont see the state swinging red this election season. So far the latest poll results are:

DEMOCRATS
1. Gov. Kyle Evasco-57%

2. VP Mikhael Alon-33%
3. Sen. Jan Batrina-9%
4. Cong. Cynthia Armos-1%

UNIONIST
1. Sen. Erick Ulan-34%

2. Matt Calderan-32%
3. Gov. William Pasey-24%
4. Gov. Arlinda Wallace-10%

The State will most likely go for Gov. Evasco in the dems side, as he is the incumbent governor and is a very popular political figure especially in the west. While the GOP is in a heated race between Sen. Ulan and Businessman Mr. Calderan with only 2 points separating the two. The GOP primary could go down to the wire as the two wrestle for support in the past 2 weeks with mudslinging almost a daily occurence between the two. But Gov. Pasey is still poling strong at 24% and as histort teaches us, these things can flip the last minute.

Polls are now open and it is 8:15 AM Pacific time. Results will flow in once the polls close st 6 PM. Stay tune for more updates.

PTV BREAKING NEWS
SEN. ULAN SNATCHES CLOSE VICTORY, CALDERAN REFUSES DEFEAT

-After 2 days of recounting across 15 counties statewide, the Secretary of State for San Andreas certified the following final results of the State GOP Primary in a press conferenfe this morning at the state capital.

1. Sen. Ulan-Winner
34%
-8 612 377
2. Matt Calderan
33%
-8 585 007
3. Gov. William Pasey
27%
-6 488 211
4. Gov. Arlinda Wallace
5%
-1 256 400
Unnacounted vote
0%
-0

The results were largely accepted, with the senator leading by just 27 000 votes, except by Mr. Calderan himself, vowing to file a electoral protest over alleged "missing votes" in some key GOP counties. The Secretary of State for San Andreas, Anthony Sanchez, said that the allegations are unfounded and lacks evidence. The state electoral commission dismissed Mr. Calderan's protest and ended the recount.

This proved to fire up the latter's base as many Calderan supporters are now more fired up as ever with Mr. Calderan himself speaking in his last campaign rally after the results where released;
My friends!
*loud cheers and applause*
This is just the beginning!
*loud cheers and applause*
The cheating senator..
*loud boo*
The cheating erick, will never win a primary again let me tell you that!
*loud cheers and applause*
There is a war going on overseas, and a war here in the GOP. A war that could lead this party to victory under me!
*loud cheers and applause*
Or to the destruction of our beloves conservative values under Sen. Ulan!
*loud boo*
The senator is expected to speak tonight in his victory rally in Los Santos. Stay tuned for more updates.

PTV ELECTION UPDATES
CANDIDATES ON THEIR REMARKS AFTER THE SUPER PRIMARIES

Gov Kyle Evasco
Thank you!
*applause*
Thank you so much! We have won and won big!
*loud cheers and applause*
My Fellow Arizeleans, despite the accusations thrown against us, once again you have proven that competence is a hallmark in public service, and no vile accusation will make the people blind of the fact that we can bring the change we need!
*loud cheers and applause*
Let us address the elephant in the room, yesterday, a newspaper just published a story detailing my alleged affair with an unknown capitol colleague, they dont even have a source to begin with. All these, are deceitful lies to throw me off my lead in our primaries.
*loud boos*
I never had anything to do with any woman they may throw at me, whatever is my past, whatever is my past, is not relevant to the future we will build because everyone of us made mistakes before. Your leaders, standing in front of you are also humans, and to human is to err. Now I am not saying I have a spotless past, but what I did, is to learn from them and move on to the future, and what we need now more than ever is a man on the helm who could look forward to a better future and make it Happen!
*Loud applause and standing ovation*
Vice President Mikhael Alon
Thank you my fellow Arizeleans!
*loud cheers and applauseP
Today, we may have lose, but the battle is just raging on!
*loud cheers and applause*
We cannot let our country go back to the politics of the past, we cannot let our country be led by lying, deceitful and morally compromised individuals, we must pledge to ourselves and our children once more, that we will secure to ourselves and to them, the blessing of our great nation, and we will start making that pledge true, by winning the white house and keep this country on track!
*Loud cheers and applause*
Sen. Erick Ulan
Fellow unionists, friends, what a great day for us!
*Loud cheers and applause*
We prove today, to one particular man who I will not mention...
*loud boo*
yes, and to all the pundits and the media out there, that we are still in the Game!
*loud cheers and standing ovation*
We are still in the game and we will gonna make it to the convention as your nominee for the presidency of the United States and no one will stop our mission in re-inventing the Arizelean dream!
*loud cheers and applause*
No fake news, or insults, or clever nicknames will stop this train from rolling to the White House, you cannot insult your way to the presidency!
*loud cheers and applause*
No my friends, as the presidency is much bigger than a foul mouthed egomaniac, it is our solemn duty, to protect the integrity of the office of the president, and our duty to others and to ourselves, to make sure that the man at the helm of our great nation is a man of integrity and honor!
*loud applause and standing ovation*
The battle ahead is quite a handful, they will throw everything at us, to stop us, but I trust you all to make a good choice for the future of our country, we may not win the battle today but we will win the WAR!
*Loud applause and standing ovation*
*ULAN! ULAN! ULAN!*
Matt Calderan
We are gonna make
*Arizelon Great Again!*
*Loud cheers and applause*
The lyin.. the lying senator, who is part of the political elite, robbing you of your future, corrupting the halls of Arizelea, they are the enemy of our people!
*loud cheers and applause*
We will win and we will win big let me tell you that!
*Loud cheers and applause*
We will rid this race of fake, and let me tell you, fake conservatives like that lying erick!
*applause*
we will, and we will drain the swamp in Arizelea, and usher a greater economy, prosperity for all and a better country!!
*loud cheers and applause*

PTV NEWS UPDATES
PRIMARY SEASON REACHES HALFPOINT AS RACE STILL HEATS UP
-More than 25 out of the 50 states in the country now had or will be having their primaries as the primary season hits its midpoint, just a month away from the party conventions in July. 7 states will have their primaries this coming Friday. Missisini, Lawrence, Arsenia, Montgomery, Idaho, Franklin and Sierra will altogether have 791 delegates for the Democrats and 805 for the Unionists, making this one of the biggest delegations to win, which may give a leg up to aspiring democratic candidates as current front runner Gov. Evasco faces charges of misconduct when he was governor, including an alleged mistress. Meanwhile the GOP is still in a fierce fight between the top two contenders, Sen. Ulan and Matt Calderan, but the 3rd placer, Gov. Pasey surprisingly took a very right turn as he met with ultra conservative religious leaders in Jefferson City, Jefferson, in the 51st National Conservative Forum. The governor spoke of "bringing back the old order in the country" and "religion is an important part of governing". A far cry from his modest stance all throughout his career. Senior Political Analyst and Political Sciences Professor Richard Haydarian said that this change of stance of the governor is a political move, and not so much of a personal move. As he sees his number slips down the polls, the once front runner of the GOP is now at a far cry behind the tied top contenders. So far the election season is still kicking, as we await who will clinch their party nominations and face off at the general elections this November.

GOV. EVASCO FACES MORE RAPS ON ALLEGED MISCONDUCT; AFFAIR
-More raps are on the way of the Democratic Front runner as a woman by the name of Martha Stewarts came out as the governor's alleged mistress. Ms. Stewarts, now 34, was interviewed in Good Morning Arizelon at CBS. She said that she was compelled to come out due to the report of the Manhattan Globe, she said that the newspaper's reports of the story where true but there is more to it. But she declined to further elaborate for security concerns, saying she will try to file a case on court against the Governor for alleged assault, saying that he was quite physical on their alleged year long affair. The interview garnered alot of attention on social media, with #webelievestewart and #evasco4pres trending on theowitter, with supporters of both sides having fierce debates online. Candidates across the field had their own reactions, VP Alon commented on the issue saying "the governor better answer these allegations. We cannot have a morally corrupt president in the helm". Sen. Batrina said "we cannot have a womanizing-in-chief", the comment spurred the #womanizerinfchief. In the GOP, only Matt Calderan made a comment whilst rallying in Montgomery, saying "he better back out, cus he will not win in November". The governor and his camp is still silent as of the moment, but a statement is expected to be released by today.

GOP TO HAVE PRIMARY DEBATES TONIGHT
-CBS will host the 6th GOP Debate at Franklin State University Auditorium, attended by all 4 candidates. The debate will be a townhall type, hosted by News Tonight Anchor, David Sanchez. The debate will air 7PM central time or 8PM eastern.

PTV ELECTION UPDATES
POLLS CLOSE ON 7 STATES AS RESULTS COME IN
-Polls close on the states of Missisini, Lawrence, Arsenia, Montgomery, Idaho, Franklin and Sierra as the primary day ends. The Federal Election Commission reported a turnout rate of 79% or over 55 million voters. The FEC declared the elections generally peaceful and has seen no act of violence or disruption and voting went smoothly apart from 150 reported voting machines that where malfunctioning. Other than that, the elections where very successful said the FEC. Election results will be released as votes come in from the various states.

PRESSURE MOUNTS ON DEM FRONTRUNNER; GOP POLLS SHOW DIVIDED PARTY
-More pressure mounts on the democratic front runner Gov. Kyle Evasco to answer the allegations regarding his alleged affair with Martha Stewarts. The allegations started with the front page story of the Manhattan Globe, followed by a press conference where Ms. Stewarts said the story in the newspaper where true and that he planned on filing a case against the governor for alleged sexual harassment during their alleged course of relationship a few years ago when the governor was in his first term. The governor has yet to release any statements and his camp has denied the accusations vehemently, stating that the public wait the governor's interview in 60 minutes that will air tonight at 8pm est, primetime, the interview includes the governor's wife, Iya Evasco, the interview is hosted by Warner Cronkite and is set to last a full hour. The scandal has started to affect the governor's ratings at the polls, with VP Alon getting close, as the latest polls before the primary shows;

2. Alon, Mikhael - 37%

Meanwhile the GOP Unionists are now at a head to head battle as the top two contenders, Sen. Ulan and Matt Calderan inch closer to the polls. The latest polls show the two are at a deadlock 36 percentage points. Campaign rhetoric continue to soar from both sides as the latest GOP debate last night showed, with the two candidates seeming to be in a perpetual bull fight on many key issues such as terrorism, welfare and the military. Sen. Ulan favors a diplomatic but though approach to terror, whilst Mr Calderan advocates for an all out war on terror, the Sen. is vehemently against cuts on social security while Mr Calderan pushes for a comprehensive welfare reform. But both senators agree that the current defense spending needs to be boosted further. The GOP, now a divided party, needs to get itself together before the July convention, or it risks losing agains the democrats and hand the white house over to them for another 4 years.
