The Venacia International Airport is the second-largest airport on Earth by area and number of Runways, but one of the calmest and least busiest. The Airport is the site of many Zayrattanian Air Force training missions due to it size.
The airport was built to accommodate the rapidly growing city of Venacia, but Due to being in a fairly new country, the airport's designers created a massive airport that was not ready to be utilized at full capacity. Only 26 of the airport's 214 gates are in use, all of them within one terminal.
The airport is a regular target for extremists and has some of the tightest airport security in the world. VIA has been used as a Forward Operating Base twice due to wars. It is arguably the safest place in the city of Venacia if the city were to come under attack, as happened during the Three Cities War.
