Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris

#1

Post by MONTEMARINO »

Hi!

This is my new plugin! The Cathedral of Notre Dame. Is not the exact copy, because the template should be rectangular for that instead of squared. Anyway, is a differente church with a huge religious influence.

Enjoy!

Very intricate. Maybe needs some soil around the trees. They don't grow very well straight out of concrete.

Really great work!
It just needs a bit of structure and there are some blue pixels at the back that don't belong there.

Thank you! I noticed the fail while I was posting XD, but the png file in the zip is corrected.
By the way, how would you give some structure? I thougt there wasn't much more space to pixelate more details.
Thanks in advance for your solutions!

I don't know which program your using to make your plugins, but I would just apply a slight noise filter in photoshop. Other PC-programs like paint.net or gimp might have similar filters too.
Regarding the trees, you can use my modular park version of Lobby's tree, if you want (see below).
Another thing I would suggest is to apply a slight gradation curve, to give the building a bit more punch in the lights and shadows. Right now it looks a bit flat, I think.

It does not look pixelized, it looks like the low poly building from 3d city builders but anyway great job!

Looks good! A little addition of details would perfect it. Good job.

Needs a dab of greyish tint to make it look like the perfect one on images

Good job!
I think you may have gone a bit too far with the "punch", though. Maybe find a reasonable middle ground between your previous and your current version.
