US wasn't exist till 1492, when Christopher Columbus arrived the location.

Fun fact: England and France is very close to North America, while Spain and Portugal is very close to Latin America.

That's when the continent of America is believed to be discovered.

This post shows the idiocy of this poster. He does not even know history. What a shame. Stop pretending to be a know-it-all.

Late reply but imo America is a wonderful place(with the exeption of some deep southern states). New York is diverse and seeped in culture. Freedom of political expression is also great. I do think its "the greatest country in the world", because in spite of it not being the best in some areas the sum of its parts makes it great. The US has its fair share of problems with old infrastructure, thr broken electorate system, gun violence, and china etc, but all countries have their problems. Being a secular democracy is also a big plus.

I think the 2nd Amendment is one of the most important. Without it, we wouldn't be able to protect ourselves. There are many negative things about the 2nd Amendment, but I support it all the way...
