Question with Plugin Store
Suppose that I am asking you about this situation.
I created a plug-in made with some textures available fron the game itself, which is available to use as long as you credit the creators (Lobby and Theo).
That is literally it. All the textures were from the game itself, and what I did was only to code and to paste the textures in harmony. This was to make the plug-in look acceptable.
Here are the questions:
1. Is it legal to put it up the the plug-in store, with the citations noticeable enough for the people to see who gave contributions for the textures, which the publisher himself do not truly own?
2. If yes in the first question, would the publisher get diamonds as revenue? If so, then how would the diamond earnings be distributed? Would the publisher get the same amount of diamonds in comparison with someone who published a plug-in whose all work for the plug-in was done by the publisher himself?

Re: Question with Plugin Store
1. No. Not without explicit approval.
2. The diamonds would go to who posted the plugin.

Thanks.CommanderABab wrote: ↑26 Apr 2019, 17:441. No. Not without explicit approval.

Now say that the creators whom I borrowed content (Lobby and Theo) allowed me to use their creations. Is it then legal to place my plug-in the the store?
Also, realistically, the only requirement for you to legally borrow the game textures is to citate Lobby and Theo, right?

Re: Question with Plugin Store
You can try it. But remember, there is an approval process.

Re: Question with Plugin Store
Does anyone have the link to the Residential Decals plug-in?
