Building Decay

In Sim City 3000 there was this thing where water and power plants would have an expiration date. What i mean is after a set amount of time the buildings would collapse. It could be a cool addition to TheoTown, but it is from another game so idk if it would be the best idea to add it. A reason I think it would be interesting is if you just let the game go by itself for too long the buildings will collapse and half of your city will lose power (Trust me, I know from experience).
