There is a castle Town Hall... Residental buildings with nice past German style You can build quite nice city centre I think that TheoTown gives you a chance to build the city of your idea. If you want to have skyscrapers just build it that way. There is one special high building you can surround it with level II commercial...

My way of building is a big map where I build one big city and few smaller towns. I leave a big forrest between them, system of expressways to communicate. There is always a noir small town with only dirt roads, small houses and dark church in the centre Each town is different. Big city is full of skyscrapers, one is full of factories. It's fun.

Town Where I Live In Has Lots Of Historical Building ...
We Have Even 3 Old Hydro Dams What The Town Was Built Around Dams Havent Been Changed But The Equipment Has Been Upgraded To Modern Ones And Closing Doors Have Been Added So If One Part Needs To Be Dryed Up They Can Just Close The Gates To Dry Up The Channel.
Most Historic Building Are By The River/Hydro Dams For Example The Factories And Old Church And Town Hall.
It Pretty Much Illegal To Break Them .. Or Atleast It Would Be Considered As Historical Murder. We Dont Break The Building We Just Renovait Them ... Example The Our Towns Biggest Museum Vaprikki Was Built Inside And Old Finlayson Factory What Was Uses To Make Ship Parts ... Pretty Much Building Looks Same Outside ... Of Course Some Small Things Have Been Changed Some Doors Have Been Added And Windows Have Been Reinstalled Whit More Efficent Ones What Keep More Heat In ... And All The Electronic Wirings Have Been Rerouted.
Our Towns Highest Bulding Näsinneula Is Around 120 Meters ... And It Was Built As Amusment Park Särkänniemi... Its Located About 1-2 Kilometers From Out Towns Center
Our Second Highest Building (i belive its our town second highest building) Is About 500Meters - 1 Kilometer From Our Towns Center ... Building Is Brand New And Is An Hotel...
And The Towns Center Hasent Been Changed Almost At All And First Mcdonalds What Came To Finland Was Located Right Next To Town Center . And That Building Hasent Changed Since At All.
This Shows It Isint All About De God Damm Skycrapers.
I Myself Prefer Historical Building Mote Than New Ones
