Yeah, that's exactly what they are. Markers to show in which direction a road tile isn't connected yet.

I would say it is even not a problem of the language but of smartphone hardware in general (although we use Java, but it is well optimized since newer Android versions). However, we have some time till we get into trouble.

We have actually planned to add Godzilla, but the amount of work to create graphics for it was too much. That's why we paused on adding it, but who knows, maybe the monster will destroy your cities somewhere in the future.

We have already though about that. The idea is to do it in a similar way as SimCity 4, where all maps lay in the same region and can be connected by roads, trains and so on. We probably add it some day.
