Re: Alley and linear decoration

Best I can think of is just replace the trees by building over them.

But 31x8 would be smaller than 256.

Re: Building height

You have to use the last line of this code if your image is taller than 256 pixels high: "id":"$ab.crimsonandclovercom00", "type":"park", "title":"Crimson and Clover", "author":"CommanderABab", "text":"bi...

Level 2 elevation?

Elevated roads are nice, but is it possible to create a second level (if I'm not mistaken would be as tall as the elevated railway)? This would make for even more interesting arrangements: think triple-deck motorways, Los Angeles-style cloverleaves, just think of the possibilities.

Re: Hopewell Centre,Hong Kong(4×4,TTT)

Can you make a version that's 256 pixels tall too? Remember that buildings taller than 256 can glitch out.

Actual Train Railways

The train railway system in the game is actually an overhead metro system which only works within the city (ie no neighbour connections).

Is it possible to introduce a surface-level train system that can connect cities?

Re: Museum coding

Doesn't sound like the game simulates aging. If it does, maybe we can code in knowledge decay (where the education level decreases as we go up the age groups, obviously the older citizens are, the more knowledge lost) and have libraries and museums to either slow down the decay or stop it altogether.

Museum coding

Trying to make a 4x4 museum. However, I don't know how the code works so that it provides the same bonuses as the default museum (heck, I don't even know what effects it actually has, therefore I've not placed it in any of the cities I've played this far). Please help.

Re: Improving the road length count

I noticed it too, but I understand why. The point you're building from is counted as point zero, so what you do is take 1 away from your intended length (say I want to build a 64-tile length road, it'll be from 0-63).

Replacing default building artwork with my own creations

Hi guys,

Just wondering, is it okay if I replace the default building artwork in game with buildings that I made myself? I promise the buildings are all designed by me, and I will only apply it to my copy of the game (unless you actually like it, then I'll put it up here for download).
